UK tax summit - 28 October 2014

For a number of years we have run a Tax technical conference in the autumn. This two day event has grown over the years and feedback from attendees has prompted us to make some changes to ensure it continues to meet the needs of tax directors and senior tax managers.

The UK tax summit will take place on Tuesday 28 October in London. The event will provide you with knowledge around some key tax topics that you may wish to consider in the development of your tax strategy. There will be a mix of plenary and breakout sessions hosted by subject matter experts.

The outline agenda

Given its current pervading influence on the development of the tax environment the lead topic will be BEPS: a strategic overview of the BEPS changes; to help you think about how your tax strategy might need to flex to accommodate these.

Other topics will include*:

  • Innovation - how companies are using the incentives, grants and reliefs available to support their business
  • Recent case law - how this is likely to influence HMRC attitude to litigation and the assessment of tax risk by groups
  • FATCA for non-FS clients - what companies need to do to respond to requests to confirm FATCA status
  • Scottish independence or 'Devo Max' - how the vote will impact businesses.

* The content of the sessions may change between now and the event to ensure we're covering the most up to date content.

To register your interest in attending this event, please complete the registration form to the right of the page. We will send details of the final agenda closer to the event.

There is no charge to attend the UK tax summit.
